Competition Law

The Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition was enacted in 1994 to prevent actions and transactions that distort competition and disrupt resource allocation, ensuring that the freedom of enterprise is guaranteed, and to increase social welfare. The primary purpose of the Competition Law is to prevent agreements, decisions, and practices that restrict or distort competition in goods and services markets, as well as the misuse of dominance by companies with significant market power, through necessary regulation and supervision.
