Simge Kublay Can is a partner in the Firm and focuses on employment law and contract management.
Simge provides legal consultancy services in the fields of individual and collective labor law, as well as in areas related to the employment life, such as social security law, insurance law, union law, and the protection of personal data in labor relations. Simge closely collaborates with the human resources departments of both local and multinational clients, offering legal support in the preparation of documents such as employment contracts, internal regulations, policies, standard operation procedures, discipline and performance regulations, incentive/bonus plans, settlement agreements, termination documents, operational decisions, organizational changes, and restructuring decisions. Additionally, Simge also provides legal consultancy services in processes involving foreign elements, such as the establishment of companies, branches, liaison offices of foreign companies in Turkey, cross-border employment relationships, independent contractor agreements, and work permit process.
With her experience in litigation and dispute resolution, she also provides legal consultancy to clients in pre-litigation processes. She assists to clients in terms of preventive legal measures and alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation that can be taken before the dispute, especially on the matters of labor disputes, complex commercial disputes and consumer complaints. She is also licensed mediator in labor law, commercial law and consumer law.
She provides legal services to local and multinational clients on drafting, reviewing and revising contracts and negotiating with the counter party in all matters in accordance with its commercial and legal relations concerning their operation area. In this context, she conducts in preparation and negotiation process in the fields of construction, purchasing and selling products and services, lease, transportation and logistics, manufacturing contracts.
Simge is a graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Law (LLB, 2014) and Galatasaray University, Economics Law (LLM, 2022). Simge is admitted to the Istanbul Bar since 2015 and is fluent in English.
